AGREEMENT TO STATEMENT OF FAITH
We acknowledge AGLOW Theater is a non-profit Christian organization and its productions reflect the values, vision, and mission of Christ’s followers. We acknowledge AGLOW reserves the right to make final decisions on all aspects of its productions.
We have read the Statement of Faith and we agree to allow our children to be treated according to the principles stated. We (parents and children) accept this statement to be the foundation for all interaction through AGLOW.

STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God, infallible, inerrant, the supreme and final authority for all faith and life. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection and His imminent bodily return in power and glory. We believe man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost; only those who put their faith in Jesus Christ alone can be saved. We believe that God created marriage to be exclusively the union of one biological man and one biological woman, and that intimate sexual activity is to occur exclusively within that union. We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female, and that these two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. We believe salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose substitutionary death on the cross paid the penalty for man's sin. We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict man, indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for godly living and service. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers through our common faith in Jesus Christ and that individual doctrinal differences which may exist should not hinder the unity of Christian home educators.

FAMILY INVOLVEMENT & EXPECTATIONS
AGLOW Theater could not happen without every parent pitching in and helping with this production at some level. Whether it is praying, promoting, selling concessions, collecting props, or managing the actors – there is a place for you.
  • Serve on at least one committee (i.e. costumes, programs. Will discuss at Parent Meeting on 5/14).
  • Two adults will be present at each rehearsal to assist the director in running lines with actors and assuring that students stay safe. Each family (mom, dad, responsible older sibling) must commit to attending 3 rehearsals during the season.
  • One parent must attend Costume Day, scheduled for some time during the third week of rehearsal (6/14-6/17). AGLOW does have a costume closet that will provide the actors with a good start on their costume. However, on Costume Day, the director shares her vision for the costumes of each character and it is the parent’s responsibility to find and collect items needed for their child’s costume. However, we intend to help each other find costume pieces.
  • Families are expected to help out on performance days. We will update you as the details develop.
Families support the concessions by providing a treat or drink donation to be served during one of the shows. This year treats and drinks must be store bought and individually wrapped. More details to come.

PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS
We grant AGLOW Theater permission to photograph/film our children and to use their image for promotional purposes both in print and social media. This year’s videos will be used as an opportunity for the skits to be shared with family and friends, as well as allowing us to share them with additional church youth groups for teaching resources.

We're lots of places!
